Account: You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information and all activities under your account.
Content Ownership: Sellers retain rights to their original recipes, videos, and written content but grant Savorroots.net a license to display, distribute, and promote it through the platform.
Prohibited Content: Content that is plagiarized, offensive, misleading, or infringes on others’ intellectual property is not allowed.
Disclaimer: Recipes and tutorials are provided for informational purposes. Savorroots.net is not responsible for dietary outcomes, food safety, or individual health reactions.

2. Terms for Buyers

Purchases: By purchasing a recipe, you receive a limited, non-transferable license for personal use only. Redistribution, resale, or commercial use is prohibited without the seller’s permission.
Refunds: Due to the digital nature of recipes, all sales are final unless the file or video is defective or inaccessible.
Access: Buyers are responsible for ensuring they have the necessary devices/software to view videos or print recipe files.
Conduct: Buyers must not attempt to share purchased content publicly, bypass payment systems, or harass sellers.

3. Terms for Sellers

Ownership: You must own the rights to the recipes, videos, and any accompanying materials you upload.
Licensing: By listing your recipe, you grant Savorroots.net the right to host, display, and promote your content on the platform.
Earnings: Sellers receive a percentage of each sale as outlined in our Seller Agreement. Savorroots.net retains a service fee.
Obligations: Sellers are responsible for accurate descriptions, quality of uploaded content, and honoring the cultural/heritage narratives they share.
Restrictions: Sellers may not upload copyrighted material without permission, nor use AI-generated content without disclosure.

4. Payments

All transactions are processed through our secure payment provider.
Buyers authorize charges at the time of purchase.
Sellers will receive payouts according to our payout schedule. Fees and taxes may apply.

5. Intellectual Property

All trademarks, branding, and site design belong to Savorroots.net.
Users may not copy, scrape, or reproduce website content without permission.

6. Limitation of Liability

Savorroots.net provides a platform for cultural exchange but is not responsible for:

Accuracy of recipes or cultural histories provided by sellers
Any health issues, allergies, or food safety concerns arising from the use of recipes
Loss of data or interruption of service

7. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account that violates these terms.

8. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of changes.
